On Friday 9 January 2026, I had the pleasure of being invited by Article 1, and more specifically by Sébastien Bauvet and Constance Cheynel, to take part in the webinar series “Les Vendredis de la Recherche”.
This invitation provided a valuable opportunity to present the EuroMentorLab project to a wide audience of researchers, practitioners, and professionals interested in mentoring, skills recognition, and social inclusion.
During the webinar, we shared the core ambitions of EuroMentorLab, an Erasmus+ funded European project aimed at developing a European framework for the recognition and certification of mentoring skills. The presentation highlighted the project’s innovative foundations: a socio-constructivist approach to mentoring, the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence, the integration of open badges, and a strong commitment to inclusion and sustainability.

The exchanges that followed underscored the growing interest in mentoring as a lever for employability, empowerment, and social mobility, as well as the importance of building bridges between research, practice, and public policy.
This webinar marked an important dissemination milestone for EuroMentorLab and reinforced the relevance of close collaboration between research actors and field organisations. Warm thanks to Article 1 and Sébastien Bauvet for the invitation and for creating such a stimulating space for dialogue and knowledge sharing.
